Finding inspiration in the symbols & characters embedded in these archives - Cathy will dissect and transpose and reduce them to pure abstraction – rendering them completely foreign. This process culls Yantsis to further examine her identity, heritage and the journey of her people more scrupulously while fuelling her fascination of migration.
